I've had this idea kicking around in my head for awhile now, and it started when someone asked me if I'd been to Zahav. I hadn't (still haven't, actually), and I realized how many things I've neglected to do simply because access to it was so easy that I ended up procrastinating indefinitely. I'm not a big foodie (or phoodie), but after nine years in Philly, I should have been to Zahav by now. And, all of us probably have a similar list of things every Philly resident should do but we just haven't bothered. Because of this tendency to neglect the things in closest proximity to us, and for lack of a better term, I call this phenomenon "proximity neglect."

We're trying this new fad called blogging. I believe its "blogging" or "blowging," it might be a long "O," I'm not sure. But apparently you just write for an extended period of time.
